Election results: No way for this to end but badly

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

If you know someone who voted for Obama, you might as well face the fact they voted for [someone] helping to take over a once great, proud, God-fearing nation that was willing to fight for what we stood for and sold us out for a few free dollars. It now appears that lies and corruption are our new norm. There can be no way for this to end except badly for America.

I thought that, as every election in the past, a bad economy hanging around an incumbent’s neck would sink him. Even those few Americans who were still employed full time would be aware of the pain of their neighbors (especially those living on Social Security) and would elect someone who would try to make a better country.

I guess some Americans would sell their liberty for the sake of trinkets like cell phones or even big shiny lies like free health care.

In the 20th century, we stepped to the plate three times and saved the rest of the world from fascism, nazism and communism. We were the cavalry, always riding to the rescue.

Now Obama got rid of our horses, spent all of our money on windmills, alienated our allies, bowed to our enemies, cut us off from our own resources, threw away our children’s birthright, and spent their inheritance.

When the wolf is at the door (and he’s coming, yelling “Allahu Akbar”), who is going to save us?

Good or bad? Depends on who you ask

Sometimes readers ask for more good news in the paper. They say we in the media only cover the bad. But one person's positive is another's negative.

My kind of game

I would have gladly paid to take in the game I covered Saturday morning in Morrison.
