Moscow Ballet makes pit stop at local hotel
ROCK FALLS – About 40 dancers and crew members from the Moscow Ballet had a layover Sunday at Rock Falls Hotel.
Unfortunately, they won’t be performing the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy in the area anytime soon.
The company stayed at the hotel, 2105 First Ave., after performing at the Akoo Theatre in Rosemont. It has a performance today in Leavenworth, Kan., said Sally Michael Keyes, director of public relations for Moscow Ballet North America.
