On the docket: Pretrial conference.

HOME INVASION CASE: David A. Jones, 37, of Dixon; charged with home invasion and criminal trespass to a residence and misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon and criminal damage to property. Police say Jones went into a Dixon home through an unlocked window on July 28, found an ax and chopped through a door of a room where people had locked themselves in.

On the docket: Pretrial conference.

SEX ABUSE CASE: Nikos M. Kastrinsios, 40, of Dixon; charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and possession of child pornography. Police say that Kastrinsios had oral sex with a boy younger than 17 in December 2011, and that a search of his home turned up child pornography.

ARMED ROBBERY CASE: Donte Myles, 25, of Chicago; charged with armed robbery. Police say Myles robbed a woman at knifepoint April 2 and took more than $1,000.

CREDIT CARD CASE: Holly E. Sheley, 34, of Oregon; charged with unlawful use of a credit card. Police say Sheley stole a Franklin Grove man’s credit card in September 2011 and used it to buy items in local stores and online.

MARIJUANA CASE: Rudolph Sikkelerus, 58, of Elmwood Park; charged with unlawful production of marijuana plants and possession of between 30 and 500 grams of marijuana. Police say they found 45 plants and 35.8 grams of marijuana on his property and in his trailer at Woodhaven Lakes in Sublette.

DOMESTIC BATTERY CASE: Moses D. Spears, 28, of Dixon; charged with aggravated domestic battery, felony and misdemeanor domestic battery, and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, also a misdemeanor. Police say Spears hit and choked his girlfriend on March 1, and grabbed the phone when she tried to call police.

On the docket: Pretrial conference.

MURDER CASE: Matthew W. Welling , 32, of Amboy; charged with first-degree murder and two counts of home invasion. Police say Welling pushed his way into the home of Delmar Leroy Daniels, 79, and killed him during a struggle.
