Road closure to start Monday

MORRISON – The Whiteside County Highway Department will close part of Hurd Road in Tampico Township on Monday to start drainage tube replacement.
Starting at 7 a.m. Monday, a 1-mile section will be closed about 2 miles southwest of Tampico, from Blue Goose Road on the west to Matznick Road on the east.
There will be no marked detour.
The closure is expected to last until Wednesday.
