Flu shots on hand at area hospital

MENDOTA – Mendota Community Hospital’s bimonthly routine childhood immunization clinic will be Dec. 19 in Conference Room C at the education center of the hospital, 1401 E. 12th St.

Injections for those on public aid, uninsured and underinsured will be from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The shots are $15 each, payable in cash that day. For other arrangements, call 815-538-7232.

The afternoon session, from 1 to 3 p.m., will be for those with insurance coverage. Insurance companies will be billed directly.

Immunization records and public aid cards are required. Signed consent forms also are needed if someone other than a parent or guardian brings the child in for vaccinations.
