Emanuel, Quinn close to a deal for Chicago casino
CHICAGO (AP) — Mayor Rahm Emanuel says he and Gov. Pat Quinn are "very close" to a deal for a Chicago casino.
Quinn says an agreement could come together by Jan. 9, when new members of the General Assembly will be sworn in to office.
Lawmakers approved legislation earlier this year that would bring casinos to Chicago and four other areas.
