Volunteers sought for bird census

APPLE RIVER – Volunteers are needed for the Eagle Nature Foundation’s 53rd annual mid-winter bald eagle count Jan. 26 and 27.

The count is from northern Minnesota to Louisiana, The second day is used only if weather is a factor on the first day.
