During a phone interview, Lynch poked his head inside inside Loos’ room to see if he was coming to dinner.

“The guys, they’re pretty good about taking care of me,” Loos said. “If I need something to drink or eat, they’re usually able to help me out. I’m just looking forward to getting healthy and getting back on the field.”

Lynch became the third consecutive NIU player, joining Chandler Harnish in 2011 and Chad Spann in 2010, to be named the league’s MVP. He was joined on the first team by wide receiver Martel Moore, defensive linemen Sean Progar and Alan Baxter and defensive back Jimmie Ward.
