DAVENPORT, Iowa – Daytona Geesey, Holly Grim, Hayley Kent and Kyle Ranken from Dixon High School took fourth place at the Dr. David and Dr. Agnes Palmer Junior Achievement Titan Competition in Davenport, Iowa.

The competition provides high school students the opportunity to compete against teams from schools throughout JA of the Heartland’s 24-county area in an online business management simulation. Students serve as the CEO of a virtual company working to outperform their competition.

Teams of four received support from a business mentor. Chad Weigle of Edward Jones was the Dixon team mentor.

Throughout October and November preliminary competitions were in seven locations, including Dixon. The top performing team from each preliminary round advanced to the scholarship round.
