Students compete in simulation
MOLINE – Dixon High School Hayley Kent, Holly Grim, Daytona Geesey and Kyle Ranken were part of a scholarship round Nov. 14 in Davenport, Iowa.
DAVENPORT, Iowa – Daytona Geesey, Holly Grim, Hayley Kent and Kyle Ranken from Dixon High School took fourth place at the Dr. David and Dr. Agnes Palmer Junior Achievement Titan Competition in Davenport, Iowa.
The competition provides high school students the opportunity to compete against teams from schools throughout JA of the Heartland’s 24-county area in an online business management simulation. Students serve as the CEO of a virtual company working to outperform their competition.
