Christmas treats, music scheduled

FRANKLIN GROVE – A live Nativity scene will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Franklin Grove, 106 S. Walnut St., during the village’s Christmas in the Grove celebration.

Members of the Presbyterian church will attend, as will members of First Congregational-United Church of Christ Lee Center.

Friday activities will start with a cookie sale from 5 to 8 p.m., with a pound of cookies available for $5. Orders are not necessary, but can be placed by calling Nancy Petersen at 815-994-0622, Mary Wetzel at 815-453-2428 or Bev Bartmess at 815-453-2254.
