CLINTON, Iowa – An annual Advent retreat will be held from 7 p.m. Dec. 7 to noon Dec. 9 at The Canticle, home of the Clinton Franciscan Sisters, 841 13th Ave.

This year’s theme is “Unwrapping the Gift of Faith: Releasing the Energy of Love in Our World.” The leader will be Sister Mary Smith, a certified spiritual director for more than 20 years.
