Upset over being denied entry to show

OK, who planned the “live on stage” program at Jefferson Elementary School? What a disappointment.

Where should I begin?

First and foremost, you don’t plan a free animal show open to the public and expect an elementary gym to have enough room, which it didn’t, so my kids and I had to be turned away. How unprofessional.

Then, to top it off, people at the school said they had nothing to do with the show planning. Who did, the kinkajous?

The company that ran the show was very apologetic. The school told me to call them and see when their next show is. No, you can call me at 815-440-7275 and tell me when the next show will be.

And just a tip from your Uncle Lar, have it at the Posthouse Ballroom, Dixon Historic Center, Loveland Center, Dixon Historic Center, Reagan Middle School, Dixon High School; heck, have it outside where Mumford was – just naming a few places that I know of. I’ve lived in Dixon only 10 months.

I look forward to hearing back from you and seeing the cheetahs; no pun, since we got “cheet-ed.”
