MORRISON – Ronald C. Workman, 81, of Morrison, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at his home. He was a truck driver for General Cartage in Rock Falls, and drove for Stralow Trucking and Elwyn Nice Trucking after retirement.

Ronald was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Moline, the son of Clifford and Hettie (Yerkey) Workman. He was married to Shirley Mae King for 25 years. She preceded him in death. He then was married to Betty L. Houseman for 25 years. She also preceded him in death. He later married Gladys Roberts for 8 years. She also preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Gloria (Robert) Carroll of Morrison; one son, Michael Eugene (Nhat) Workman of Vietnam; three granddaughters; one grandson; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Dale (Jane) Workman of Morrison.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; and one half sister, Jewel Knowles.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison. Cremation rites will be accorded. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton.

A memorial has been established to the COPD Foundation.
