New site added to Earth Angel’s list

OREGON – St. Paul Lutheran Church, 114 S. Fifth St., has been added as a drop site for the Earth Angel gift donation program in Ogle County.

Donations can be made, and names picked up, from 8:30 a.m. to noon Mondays through Fridays at the church’s north entrance. All gifts must be returned by Dec. 14 to Earth Angel drop sites or call 815-291-7757 for pickup.

Needy and military families in Ogle County are the recipients. Volunteer bakers are needed; contact earth.angels.oglecounty@hotmail.com for details.

Heather Merdian and Girl Scout Troop 5106 from Polo will accept and wrap gifts from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 10 during the Scouts’ meeting at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 201 N. Division St., Polo. Call Merdian at 185-291-9239 for more information.

Happy Tails to be at Sterling mall

STERLING – Happy Tails Humane Society members will be available for pet adoptions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during December at Northland Mall, 2900 E. Lincolnway.
