DIXON – Ballet, art and cookies will be offered Friday at Loveland Community House during the annual Dixon Christmas Walk.

Loveland’s executive director, Steve Wilson, urges folks to spend some time indoors during the Christmas Walk by stopping there.

The Eastman School of Dance will perform a ballet dance with selections from “The Nutcracker Suite” between 6 and 7 p.m. Friday, Wilson said. Following that performance, a pianist will play in the ladies’ lounge, where coffee, hot cider and Christmas cookies will be served.

The Phidean Art Club will host an open art tour of all of the House’s paintings, many of which were created by well-known local artists.

The museum also will be open for all to get a glimpse of Dixon’s history. All of the rental rooms will be open to walk through.

The House at 513 W. Second St. will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Wilson urges attendees to park in the House’s large parking lot across the street.
