ASHTON – Lois C. Wolf, 94, of Ashton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Pinecrest in Mount Morris.

She was born Nov. 30, 1917, in LaFayette Township, to Harry M. and Grace E. (Metzler) Yocum. She married Francis E. Wolf on Jan. 9, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Survivors include two daughters, Gracie (Tom) Grove of Dixon and Mary (Kim) Rick of Rochelle; brother, Orville Yocum of Franklin Grove; sister, Dorothy Yocum of Mount Morris; granddaughter, Bridget Grove of Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Yocum; and two sisters, Mary Jane Frakes and Evelyn Yocum.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m., Thursday at Grace Fellowship Church in Ashton, with the Rev. Jeremy Horton officiating. Burial will be at Ashton Cemetery. Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle handled arrangements.

A memorial has been established to the Ashton Fire Department.
