Enjoy the spirit of the season at holiday concerts

The holiday season is here and will be gone before we know it. Each year as I’m walking to my car from yet another concert (and there have been a lot of them), I wonder to myself how many people are unaware of the remarkable talent we have locally.

For many who may not have school-age children or grandchildren, it would be easy to let this great gift slip through their fingers. I’d like to remind the local public that we have some amazingly talented young people who perform throughout December.

There are multiple grade school concerts to enjoy. Their little voices or a sour note here or there as they’re beginning to learn a new instrument will bring a tear to your eye and laughter to your heart. They can’t help but exude innocence and Christmas spirit as they entertain their families from the stage.
