Robert C. Flessner
AMBOY – Robert C. Flessner, 87, of Amboy, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Amboy, the son of Carl and Luella (Dewey) Flessner. He had worked for ComEd for 41 years prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of the Navy during World War II and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy.
Robert married Elaine Schultz on May 2, 1953, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mendota.
