Donate or bid at Y to help others

STERLING – Bidding starts today for a silent holiday auction at the Sterling-Rock Falls Family YMCA, 2505 YMCA Way.
Proceeds will support the Y scholarship program.
Items include a hot air balloon ride, an autographed Chicago Bears football, overnight stays and tickets at area attractions and tickets to sporting events such as the Chicago Wolves and the QC River Bandits.
Bidding ends at 4 p.m. Dec. 15.
