MOUNT MORRIS – Christina Bopes Nave, 31, of Mount Morris, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, of injuries received in an auto crash near Oregon.

She was born Nov. 26, 1980, in Dixon, the daughter of Thomas Eugene Bopes and Laura Lee Weems. She was employed in housekeeping at Pinecrest Manor in Mount Morris. She was a member of City of God Church in Sterling.

Surviving are her sons, Isiah Nave and Destan Nordan both at home; her father, Thomas (Janice Ebersole) Bopes, and her mother, Laura L. (Marty Rowe) Weems, both of Polo; her sisters, Tanya McPhail of Dixon and Shirley (Jeremy) McGuire of Polo; her nephews and niece, Preston, Kaleb, Kay Lynn, Alexis, Devyn and Xavier; paternal grandfather, Dale E. Bopes of Florida; and maternal grandparents, Tina and Gerald Quimby of Mount Morris and Sue Weems of Clearbrook, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Shirley Bopes; and maternal grandfather, Charles Weems.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, 505 First Ave., Sterling. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Harts officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to assist with her children’s education and care would be appreciated.
