Newman opens Three Rivers play with win over Amboy

The Newman Comets started Three Rivers play on the right foot Tuesday, beating the Amboy Clippers 41-32 in Amboy.
Rachel Hageman and Mary Alice Oswalt each scored eight points for Newman (4-2, 1-0).
Autumn Smith had 12 points for Amboy (2-3, 0-1). Kaitlyn Liebing had eight points.
