Early bird discount tickets offered

APPLE RIVER – The Eagle Nature Foundation bald eagle bus tours will leave at 8 a.m. Jan. 12 and Feb. 9 and 23 from Stoney Creek Inn parking lot, 940 Galena Square Drive, Galena.

The foundation is offering an early bird discount of $5 per seat for participants who register before Jan. 1 for the 4-hour tour.

The cost is $65 for adults or $60 with the discount; and $45, or $40 after the discount for children 17 and younger.

Terrence Ingram, ENF executive director, will guide the tours. Those attending should bring binoculars, telescopes and cameras and be dressed for winter weather.
