Thursday

OBSTRUCTION/DOMESTIC BATTERY CASE: Clayton M. Bonnell, 29, of Dixon; charged with aggravated domestic battery, obstructing justice, and misdemeanor domestic battery. Police say Bonnell pushed Suzanne A. Boyer, 38, down the stairs on Jan. 21, but they told police an intruder broke into her home and pushed her down the stairs.

Boyer also is charged with obstructing justice. 

On the docket: Pretrial conference for both.

Friday

CHILD PORN CASE: Ronald N. Osborn, 61, of rural Dixon; charged with six counts of aggravated child pornography. A search of Osborn’s computer on June 13 turned up multiple images of child pornography.

ogle county

Today

MARIJUANA CASE: James L. Palomarez, 19, of Dixon; charged with possession of between 500 and 2,000 grams of marijuana. Police say they found 583 grams of marijuana in the trunk of a car in which he was riding on Aug. 15. 

On the docket: Pretrial conference.

HEROIN CASE: Holly E. Sheley, 34, of Oregon; charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Police say Sheley sold about $20 worth of heroin to an informant on Aug. 17. 

On the docket: Pretrial conference.

Whiteside county

Wednesday

COCAINE CASE: Christopher G. Cornell, 26, of Sterling, and Jonah L. Smith, 22, of Chicago; charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, and delivery of a controlled substance. Police say a raid of the men’s Rock Falls motel room on June 12 turned up a large amount of crack cocaine and about $1,000.

On the docket: Pretrial conference for both.

BATTERY TO A CHILD CASE: Marcus J. Dewey, 21, of Franklin Grove; charged with aggravated battery of a child. Police say Dewey severely injured a child younger than 13 on Oct. 16. 

On the docket: Pretrial conference.

THEFT/PARAPHERNALIA: William A. Dodge, 29, of Sterling; charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Police say a search of his living space on Oct. 15 turned up syringes and a small gun safe that was reported stolen 2 weeks earlier.

On the docket: Pretrial conference.
