Donations sought for benefit for local woman with cancer
ROCK FALLS – A benefit to help a Rock Falls woman with lung cancer will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at Sauk Valley Angus, 8681 Hickory Hills Road.
The MTD Roundup Benefit is for Maureen Danilson, 55, and her son, Tyler Danilson, 17, a junior at Newman Central Catholic High School.
Maureen, the daughter of Hugh and Betty Miller of Rock Falls, was diagnosed in December. She has received chemotherapy and radiation, and is continuing treatment at CGH Medical Center.
