District rezoned in Rock Falls
ROCK FALLS – City Council members agreed Tuesday night to make the downtown Riverside Bike & Walk District a mixed-zoning district.
Among the permitted uses in a mixed-zoning district are two-family dwellings, art studios and galleries, bed-and-breakfasts and fishing piers.
After the meeting, Mayor David Blanton said bringing new development to downtown is just the first step in what he hopes the zoning will accomplish.
