Tickets on sale for annual charity auction, wine- and beer-tasting
PROPHETSTOWN – The annual Taste of Prophetstown and Charity Auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, 320 LaFayette St., with a wine- and beer- tasting that includes appetizers and live music.
Prophetstown Main Street’s annual charity auction follows at 8 p.m. Trees, wreaths, and gift baskets, including tickets to a University of Wisconsin basketball game, a child’s wooden kitchen and a “50 Shades of Grey” gift basket, will be raffled or auctioned. Proceeds benefit a local charity of the winning bidder’s choice.
Afterward, the trees, wreaths, and gift baskets will be displayed in Prophetstown store windows. Vote for your favorite decorated item with a canned good, which will be given to the Prophetstown Food Pantry.
