Student injured in fall from stairs
DIXON – A 14-year-old Dixon High School student was injured a week ago in a fall into the school’s front stairwell.
The boy Nov. 13 fell from near the top of the second-floor stairs and was taken to KSB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Dixon Fire Chief Tim Shipman said Monday.
Dixon Superintendent Michael Juenger said that no physical contact with another person was involved, and that the school’s handrails and guardrails meet safety codes. He declined to comment further.
