James Bohms

STERLING – James Bohms, 81, of Sterling, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at his home. He worked as a laborer at Lawrence Brothers Hardware for 43 years.

James was born Feb. 11, 1931, in Sterling, the son of Herman and Tessie Bohms. He married Lucille Decker on June 3, 1961, in Sterling. James served in the Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille of Sterling; five daughters, Rita (Vincent) Rausch-Kleckner of Burtrum, Minn., Becky Rausch-Sanders and Betty Bohms-White, both of Sterling, Rene (Kenneth) Rausch-Wright of Rock Falls and Sherry (Buck) Bohms-Thomas of Okeechobee, Fla.; one sister, Ruth Waisner of St. Louis; 13 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
