John L. Leary
OREGON – John L. Leary, 89, a lifelong Oregon resident, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at home.
John was born April 14, 1923, in Jesup, Iowa, to George and Rose (Schmidt) Leary. John was a 1941 Oregon High School graduate and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He married Mary Sauer on Feb. 28, 1946; she died Sept. 19, 1949. He married Mary Shaffner on May 19, 1950.
