Students attend Agronomy Day
LANARK – A total of 114 FFA members from area high schools took part Nov. 7 in the Section 1 FFA Agronomy Career Development day at Eastland High School.
West Carroll High School’s FFA team from Savanna won first place with 828 points. Forreston High School took second place with 803 points. Eastland placed fifth with 765 points.
Competitors had to identify seeds and evaluate rings of corn and other crops.
