STERLING – Tim Tedrick, a Sterling historian, spoke Nov. 15 at the Whiteside Retired Teachers’ Association meeting at First United Methodist Church.
Tedrick talked about the Manahan Home’s renovations, and how Abraham Lincoln spent a night at the home.
A buffet lunch was served to 56 members and guests. After the presentation, Larry Hinders, legislative chairman, led the business meeting. Member concerns were addressed. Visit whitesiderta.weebly.com for more information.
