Sterling Police

Karah R. McGrady, 20, of Rock Falls; 8:34 a.m. Wednesday on Avenue G Bridge; driving with a suspended license, no insurance, speeding; given notice to appear in court.

Maria Hernandez, 36, of Sterling; traffic accident at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday at West Fifth Street and Avenue G; no valid driver’s license. Also arrested was Veronica R. Yancy, 33, of Dixon; failure to yield at a stop sign; both given notice to appear in court.

Ogle County Sheriff

Dana Walker, 45, of Rochelle; at Seventh Street and Sixth Avenue, Rochelle; DeKalb County warrant, no valid driver’s license, driving without headlights when required, operating an uninsured motor vehicle; taken to Ogle County Jail.
