Correction for Friday, Nov. 16, 2012

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

A story in Wednesday’s edition reported that the Illinois Supreme Court decided Sept. 10 to appoint Ogle County State’s Attorney John B. Roe as Ogle County resident circuit judge. In fact, the court’s session began Sept. 10. The decision to appoint Roe was made Nov. 8. Roe, 37, will replace Judge Michael Mallon, 64, who will retire Dec. 4.

Sauk Valley Community College’s annual free fall band concert will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Historic Dixon Theatre, 114 S. Galena Ave. The date was omitted in a story in Wednesday’s paper.

We regret the errors.
