MOUNT MORRIS – A benefit for the family of 2-year-old Conner Pretzsch, who has a painful tumor growing on his spine, will be held from 5 to 11 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Mount Morris Moose Lodge, 101 Moose Drive.

The cancer was found Aug. 3, and Connor goes to Chicago every week for chemotherapy. Proceeds will help his mom, Brittney Pretzsch, 23, pay travel expenses.

Admission is $5 for ages 4 and older. There will be food, music, a clown, a 50/50 raffle and an auction. Call Keith Avey, 815-973-1490, to donate auction items or for more information.
