World AIDS Day program at Sauk

DIXON – A World AIDS Day event is planned from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sauk Valley Community College, 173 state Route 2.

The public is welcome to attend.

SVCC clubs will have information tables and activities set up to increase awareness of AIDS while breaking the many myths that surround it. Participants also will be welcome to create support ribbons to wear. The Lee County Health Department employees will be available to provide information as well as free, confidential rapid HIV testing from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
