Road to be closed a bit longer
STERLING – The Whiteside County Highway Department is extending the closure of portions of Coleta Road through Thursday while two drainage tubes are replaced.
The closure is just south of Coleta and extends from Capp Road on the south to Penrose Road on the north and then northerly from Penrose Road to Coleta.
The road is closed to all through traffic, except local traffic. Call 815-772-7651 for more information.
