"I have really bad asthma, but I got sick outside," she said. "They asked if I wanted to go home, but I said, 'No, I'm playing this game.' It was definitely worth it. I feel better now, and we won."

Dixon also got eight points from Kari Wolfe.

"You could see pretty early on that it was going to be a tightly officiated game," Duchesses coach Luke Ravlin said. "I thought Newman adjusted, and we didn't."
