Rock Falls board could hire second coach

ROCK FALLS – The Rock Falls Elementary District 13 school board will vote whether to hire a second sixth-grade boys basketball coach at its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

More than 30 students are out for the basketball team this year, and the school needs a second coach, Superintendent Dan Arickx said.

The board also will approve the tentative property tax levy.
