Mary L. Bolhous
FULTON – Mary L. (Busz) Bolhous, formerly of Fulton, currently of Delavan, Wis., passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in Janesville, Wis., after a 3-year battle with bone cancer.
Mary was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Fulton. She completed her education in the Fulton school system, as well as Scovill Business School in Clinton, Iowa. Her working career began as the secretary and bookkeeper for Lyons Fulton Bridge Co. After her children were grown, she also worked as the secretary and bookkeeper for local insurance agencies. While living in Fulton, she was an active member of Second Reformed Church, the Women’s Service Club and Child Study Club.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Maurice Bolhous, and their two children, Jill (Ken) Peirce and Rod (Kathy) Bolhous; two granddaughters, Megan (Christopher) Arrogante and Margaret Bolhous; three stepgrandchildren: Tracey (Michael) West, Christopher (Renee) Peirce and Andrew (Patricia) Peirce; and six step-great-grandchildren, Kyle, Emily and Ella Peirce, and Leah, Hannah and Kaitlin Peirce; her sister-in-law, Lena Rozeboom; and several nieces and nephews.
