Tea, madrigals return to St. John

SAVANNA – West Carroll High School’s music department will host its fifth annual Madrigal Tea at 6 p.m. Nov. 25 in Antl Hall at St. John Baptist Catholic Church, 318 Chicago Ave.

The program will feature the high school Madrigal Singers under the direction of Scott Mattison. Also performing will be the Highland Community College Madrigal Singers, directed by Allen Bedford, and the WCHS Woodwind Ensemble and Brass Ensemble directed by Emily Nunemaker-Bressler.

Desserts and beverages will be served.

The cost is $6; tickets are available at the door or from any Madrigal singer. For more information, call 815-273-7715, ext. 716.
