STERLING – David A. Holland, 61, of Sterling, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at CGH Medical Center.

David was born Feb.15, 1951, in Morrison, the son of Lonnie Holland and Alice Marie (Bumphrey) Cornstubble. He served in the Navy. He was a member of Firehouse Church of God in Sterling.

Survivors include his mother, Alice (Bert) Cornstubble of Rock Falls; a daughter, Lisa (Jake) Davis of Rosiclar; a son, Jeff Holland of Lawrence, Kan.; three brothers, Tim (Karen) Holland and Rick (Debra) Cornstubble, both of Sterling, and Ervin (Jill) Cornstubble of Lyndon; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Firehouse Church of God, with Brian Tribley, pastor, officiating.
