Lee United Way has some ground to gain
Director expects to raise the money in a few more months
DIXON – United Way of Lee County has raised about $240,000 in its annual campaign, which ends today – far short of its $400,000 goal.
They may hit the goal by April 1, though, Executive Director Susan Hohlen said Thursday.
The part of the campaign that involves “hitting the pavement” and meeting with volunteers ends today, but the agency expects to continue to receive money from some major firms, Hohlen said.
