Entrepreneurial farming tips offered

BELVIDERE – The University of Illinois Extension will present “Is Entrepreneurial Farming for You?” from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Boone County Extension office, 205 Cadillac Court, Unit 3.

The program is designed to help people who are considering starting a farm and to explore ideas before starting and managing a farm-based business.

Experienced farmers will be on hand to answer questions about successful farm enterprises. Topics covered will include resource assessment, goal setting, financial planning and marketing options.
