Earth Angels sought for holiday

MOUNT MORRIS – The Earn Earth Angel program is accepting Christmas donations for children in Ogle County.

All military families in the county also qualify. Volunteers will be needed to help bake, wrap, pick up or deliver.

Those who would like to submit a name of a needy family are welcome to contact Earth Angels. The information is kept confidential.

Participants sponsor a child by providing a toy or donation.

All toys will be distributed or delivered in time for Christmas.

All gifts must be returned by Dec. 14 to the sites listed or call 815-291-7757 for pickup. Attach labels to gifts. Wrapped presents are appreciated.

Monetary donations, made out to Earth Angel can be mailed to P.O. Box 188, Forreston, IL 61030-0188.

There also is an Earth Angel fund at Forreston State Bank, 200 Main St., P.O. Box 278, Forreston, IL 61030-0278.

The goal of Earth Angels is to reach out to families that are unable to receive any kind of assistance.
