CPR course to start Dec. 6

MENDOTA – Mendota Community Hospital is offering its Heartsaver AED,CPR at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 in Conference Room C of the Education Center at the hospital, 1401 E. 12th St.

The course is for all lay rescuers such as an employee in the workplace, day care employees, baby sitters,public safety and airline personnel, security guards, lifeguards, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death and any other who may have a need to respond to an emergency and who require a credential.

Instructors are American Heart Association certified. The use of these materials does not represent sponsorship of the course by the AHA. The cost is $35 and includes materials. The fee does not represent income to the AHA. The deadline to register and pay is Nov. 30. Class size is limited and a minimum number of students are needed to the hold the class.
