MOUNT MORRIS – The final concert of the season of Friday Nite Concerts on the Square, was performed Nov. 3 in the auditorium at Pinecrest Community Center.

The 2-hour concert featured local musician David Warkins and the Country Tyme Band. Old country music was played. The concert was cancelled Sept. 21 due to the weather.

The seasons concerts were very popular for the overall season that began in June and ended in late September at the historic bandshell on the old college campus downtown..

The webist mtmorril.net soon will have information detailing not only the Friday Nite Concert season, but also the Wednesday evening traditional band concerts led for many years by Warren Reckmeyer.

There also will be photos from past concerts and information on future concerts.
