Stars ready to shine at Centennial

Hippies dance around on stage Wednesday evening during the dress rehearsal for the 12th annual Lutheran Social Service of Illinois “Seeing Stars” variety show at Centennial Auditorium at Sterling High School. The show, “Peace, Love and Happiness,” features a cast of 100 people. Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Proceeds benefit LSSI programs in Lee and Whiteside counties.
