SHS Scholar Athletes named
STERLING – Sterling Chevrolet’s October Scholar Athletes of the Month Award went to Sydney McCaslin and JD Sheppard.
McCaslin has played volleyball and soccer since her freshman year. She also has played basketball, and has been a basketball cheerleader the last 2 years. In the classroom, she sports a 4.08 GPA, which ranks in the top 15 of the senior class.
Sheppard has competed in golf and basketball for the Golden Warriors since his freshman year. Academically, he has a 3.57 GPA.
