OREGON – Serenity Hospice and Home, 1658 state Route 2, will have an open house from 1 to 7 p.m. Nov. 30 in conjunction with National Hospice and Palliative Care Month.

Hospices provide pain management, symptom control, psychosocial support and spiritual care to patients and their families when a cure is not possible.

Hospice care combines quality medical care with the emotional and spiritual support that is important for patients and family caregivers coping with serious and life-limiting illness.

Visit the Serenity Home to learn more about hospice care and tour Serenity Hospice and the Home’s inpatient facility, or call 815-732-2499 and set up a time that is convenient.
