4-H’ers to gather Dec. 9 in Oregon

OREGON – The Ogle County Clovers 4-H Club and Rock River Center will have an inter-generational meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 at Rock River Center, 810 S. 10th St.

Those attending should to bring a plate of decorated holiday cookies to be entered into a contest. Prizes will be awarded in three categories: most decorated, yummiest looking and best overall.

There also will be a gift exchange. Those interested should bring an unlabeled, wrapped gift valued at $10 or less and suitable for a person age 5 to 105. Ornaments, games, puzzles, books and crafts and homemade items are encouraged.
